Racing and Wagering Western Australia today launched its new ambassador for the WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field, an exciting new initiative taking regional racing fashion to a whole new level with huge prizes up for grabs.

Fashion is known as being synonymous with the racing industry and plays a major role in the social atmosphere of the on-course experience. In particular, Fashions on the Field competitions (FOTF), have become entrenched within Australian thoroughbred racing.

Holly Young, a Western Australian model and horse racing lover has been announced as the new ambassador for the state-wide Fashions on the Field competition. “As a family we have grown up in and around racing, it’s in our blood!” said Miss Young.

Ms Young’s tip for those looking to compete in the WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field is to think from head to toe “It’s all in the detail, accessories complete the outfit and should be complementary to the overall look. It is the attention to detail that can make you stand out from the crowd” she said.
